About
BAUDIT

Baudit Interior Design is a boutique interior design firm focused on commercial and residential interiors. We are a team of award winning, dedicated individuals, passionate about creating spaces that are functional, beautiful, and tailored to suit our clients needs and lifestyle.

Partner, ARIDO, IDC, NCIDQ

Erika McCarthy

Erika is an ARIDO-award-winning designer with extensive experience in residential and commercial spaces. Her love of design and keen attention to detail allows her to bring to the table vision, expertise and a serious dose of optimism. Among her greatest talents is her ability to keep the environment fun and light while getting the job done. Her young son holds her to this, daily.

“From the first meeting to the end of the project, the thrill of seeing our designs come together for our clients never gets old.”

Angelo Gatti

Partner, LEED AP, BCIN

Angelo Gatti

Angelo’s got behind him years of experience in construction, design and project management – including three ARIDO-award-winning projects. He’s a huge believer in a team-based approach and relates it to how a bike wheel is made. Broken down it’s just a collection of parts, but assembled together, it’s a marvel of engineering that will take you to the four corners of the earth.

And Angelo would know. He’s cycled thousands of kilometres in support of charity, from Vancouver to Texas, and around Iceland.

Sylvia Porter

Associate

Sylvia started her career in the fashion industry, as Director of Production at a couture bridal house. She’s since gone on to pursue her love for interior design, where she gets to apply her in-depth knowledge of design, textile and art history to projects. When sourcing the right pieces for our clients, Sylvia leaves no stone unturned. Her design advice is hugely coveted by those of us who get to see her work.

A mother to three children, Sylvia gets how to make a home work hard for the people who live in it.

Kim MacFarlane

Senior Interior Designer | ARIDO, IDC, NCIDQ

With 11 years of experience as an interior designer behind her, Kim is an incredible design expert and resource. She joined Baudit in 2018, leading commercial projects and helping clients navigate their way through their myriad decisions. Kim is the proud recipient of an ARIDO Award of Merit for her work as lead designer for John Deere’s new corporate headquarters in Oakville.

When she’s not hard at work, Kim may be found on the ice as an adult World Silver Medalist with her synchronized skating team.

Kelsey Moir

Intermediate Designer | WELL AP

Kelsey plays an important role at Baudit, eagerly lending her skill set to both our commercial and residential projects – wherever we need her. While her background is largely in commercial interior design, she’s often involved in our residential work, hammering out drawings and the technical details she’s amazing at. As our resident City Official, Kelsey’s our go-to for all building permit applications and zoning reviews.

Kelsey can often be seen around town (and the office) with her partner in crime, Odin the German Shepherd.

Kimberley Lansdowne

Office Manager

Part of the Baudit team since 2017, Kimberley is often the first contact for anyone calling or coming into the office – and rightly so. She keeps us all in line with her admin expertise and detailed coordination of product quoting and procurement. Kimberley works closely with our clients and industry partners to ensure our projects stay on track. She’s also in charge of – and highly successful at – keeping our own team laughing.

Having lived in Belgium, and various parts of Canada, Kimberley loves to travel (with or without her three children). Her long checklist of future travel destinations includes vineyards, oceans, and everything in between.

Andrea Phillips

Junior Designer

Andrea’s background in kitchen design has instilled in her a genuine affection for creating technical drawings, gathering unique finishes, and testing the design waters with compelling colour palettes. She especially loves preparing lookbooks for client presentations. Moments like these – when she gets to connect with the design visions clients are really looking for – inspire Andrea to bring her A-game to work every day.

In her downtime, Andrea can be found at her Muskoka cottage in summer or on the ski hills in winter.
